Bandline does not collect any of your data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no servers. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone or iPad.
Your practice test scores, band targets, exam date, notes, spelling-drill history and settings are stored only in Bandline's own storage on your device. They are included in your device backup if you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup — that backup belongs to you and Apple, and the developer has no access to it.
The Listening practice speaks words aloud using Apple's built-in on-device speech synthesiser. Nothing is recorded, nothing is uploaded, and the app never uses the microphone. This works with the device offline.
Bandline offers one optional in-app purchase, Bandline Pro. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your payment details, and receives only anonymous, aggregated sales figures from Apple. Whether you have purchased Pro is stored on your device and checked with the App Store; it is not linked to any profile held by the developer.
The optional daily reminder is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. It is not a push notification, no server is involved, and no token is sent anywhere. You can turn it off in Bandline's settings or in iOS Settings at any time.
When you export a spreadsheet or a backup, or share a progress image, the file is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice. Nothing is sent to the developer.
Bandline is a study tool for people preparing for the IELTS exam and is not directed at children under 13. Since no personal information is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either.
Deleting the app removes all of it from your device. There is nothing held elsewhere to request, correct or erase. If you would like a copy of your data first, use Settings → Save a backup before deleting.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
